Middle School Coach Larry Johnson
I grew up in the Bronx, NYC without my biological father in my life. Excelling at football kept me off the streets and out of trouble. My coaches were like father figures to me. The first consistently present, wise and strong male role models who recognized positive things in me at a time when I didn’t. As a result, I played 4 yrs in High School, 4 yrs in College and 1 yr after. It’s because of this life experience that I’m passionate about coaching and mentoring young men.
Incredibly, Heavenly Father has blessed me with a marvelous wife Kim for 17 yrs and has given us 4 extraordinary kids: Aja (14), Noble (13), Kendall (9) & Joshua (6).
